Reviews and Ratings
I had a great stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a fantastic gym that's likely the largest in East Africa. However, the breakfast options could use more variety, and the Wi-Fi was quite poor during my visit. Overall, it was valued well for the price, but some areas definitely need improvement.
I had a nice dining experience at the hotel, particularly enjoying the seafood platter that was abundant and delicious. However, the service at breakfast left much to be desired, with staff seemingly uninterested in helping. Additionally, the room was in poor condition, which detracted from the overall experience. While the gym and pool facilities were impressive, the overall upkeep of the accommodations needs significant attention.
My stay at this hotel was genuinely delightful. The rooms were impressively clean and well-maintained, and I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic service provided by the staff, particularly by Rogate, who went out of her way to make us feel at home. The dining options were exceptional, though I found the breakfast to be a bit repetitive after a few days. The gym was extensive and added great value to my stay, being perfect for fitness enthusiasts. Overall, a wonderful experience, but I would appreciate a little more variety in the breakfast choices.
I had a great experience staying at this hotel in Dar Es Salaam. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were fantastic, and the staff made me feel very welcome during my stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and I loved the amenities, especially the gym and pool. However, I did find the airport transfer cost a bit high, so I suggest considering other transport options. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and is perfect for a relaxing getaway.
My stay at Colosseum Hotel was a mixed bag. While the staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, the overall vibe of the hotel felt outdated and could use a facelift. The breakfast options were quite limited, which was disappointing given the culinary diversity available in Dar. On the bright side, the generous happy hour at News Cafe and the lively atmosphere made the experience enjoyable.
